Where to stay for Torres del Paine
Hand-picked stays in the bases the tours start from β Puerto Natales above all β useful when your tour does not include the nights.

The Singular Patagonia
The Singular occupies the old Puerto Bories cold-storage plant on the shore of Last Hope Sound, a short drive out of Puerto Natales. It is the areaβs reference luxury address: industrial halls turned into lounges, water-facing rooms, a restaurant and spa on site. For tour pickups you are just outside town, so confirm the meeting point with your operator when you book a trek or day tour.

Hotel Costa Australis
Costa Australis is the classic waterfront hotel of Puerto Natales, on the costanera facing Last Hope Sound. Sound-facing rooms look straight across the water to the mountains, and the town centre β where most tours collect their passengers in the early morning β is within easy walking distance.
In town β most day tours and trek transfers pick up nearby in the early morning.

Hotel Vendaval
Vendaval β the Spanish word for the gale that defines this coast β is a modern hotel in the centre of Puerto Natales. It puts you close to the townβs restaurants and outfitters, and within easy reach of the early-morning tour departures. A practical, contemporary base for a trek-focused stay.
Central Puerto Natales β tour pickups are close by.

Lady Florence Dixie
Named after the Scottish traveller whose 1880 book Across Patagonia introduced the Paine towers to the outside world, Lady Florence Dixie is a simple, well-located hotel on the main street of Puerto Natales. It keeps the budget for the park β useful when the treks themselves are the expensive part of the trip.
Central β a short walk from most tour meeting points.

Hotel Las Torres Patagonia
Las Torres sits inside the park at the foot of the Ascencio valley β the Base of the Towers trail starts practically at its door, and the same family business (Las Torres Patagonia) runs the refugios and campsites of the eastern W. Staying here means walking to the towers without the pre-dawn transfer from town. Book well ahead: the parkβs in-park beds are the scarcest in the region.
Inside the park β town-based tours do not pick up here; plan your own park transport.

Hotel Lago Grey
Hotel Lago Grey stands by the lake of the same name, next to the beach where icebergs strand and the Grey Glacier boat departs. It is the natural overnight for anyone building their visit around the glacier β and a wind-honest one: sailings on Grey Lake stop when the weather says so, hotel guests included.
Inside the park on the western side β not a pickup point for town-based tours.

Hotel Kosten Aike
Kosten Aike is a solid, central choice in El Calafate, close to the restaurants of the main street. From here the cross-border Torres del Paine day tour leaves early and comes back late β and Perito Moreno glacier fills the day in between. A sensible base if your Patagonia trip is anchored on the Argentine side.
El Calafate β the cross-border day tour departs from town in the early morning.

Hotel Posada Los Alamos
Posada Los Alamos is the classic upscale address of El Calafate, set in gardens under the poplars the town is planted with. It suits a slower Patagonian itinerary: Perito Moreno one day, the long cross-border day to Torres del Paine another, and a comfortable garden to come back to.
